Wardrobe is an independent ladies fashion boutique providing womens fashion clothing, party dresses, evening dresses and more in the historic market town of Great Dunmow.
We’re all about beautiful clothes for todayʼs modern lifestyle, that are stylish, unique, well made, fashionable, yet at the same time wearable, and perfect for today’s hectic lifestyle, easily changeable from everyday to evening.
We have sourced some exceptional brands from all parts of the world. Including Joseph Ribkoff, Marc Aurel, GEOX, I.nco, Salsa Jeans and Uchuu.
All our brands meet ethical manufacturing processes which we think is extremely important in todays world.

History of Wardrobe
I opened Wardrobe 15 years ago, I had just hit my mid 40’s and was really struggling to find clothes I wanted to wear without going down a very expensive designer route.
High Street clothes were either too young or not cut to allow for a proper women’s body shape. I set about looking for brands which catered for really women living hectic lifestyles.
Hence Wardrobe was born.
I wanted offer clothes that could also be adapted easily from day to evening with just the change of a few accessories. I’m a strong believer in making your wardrobe work for you, not having pieces that just sit in there and very rarely get worn.
Buying good quality pieces which are sustainable will help you create a wardrobe that allows you to add new pieces in while still wearing existing pieces that you love.
We offer a friendly environment to shop in. All our assistants have been handpicked. Have the ability to be able to help you choose the right piece or put together a whole outfit for you, ranging from jeans and a shirt to that special outfit.

We are always happy to offer advice on what pieces will benefit you most to get the maximum out of your budget. Alongside our headline ranges we also offer a number of diffusion ranges, depending on the season.
